"The Island Tapes" fuses Celtic Guitar playing and Gaelic song in a live soundtrack for silent black and white films from the Scottish Screen Archive.

The show features acoustic guitarist David Allison, classical player Allan Neave, fingerstylist Ian Melrose and singer Maeve Mackinnon and is also available as a stunning CD-DVD.

The overall project also includes David Allison's solo sister shows The St Kilda Tapes and a celtic twist on Murnau's classic horror film Nosferatu.
